Ron joined MSIG Specialty Marine in 2005 and now serves as a Lead Class Yacht Underwriter. He developed his specialty as a Yacht Underwriter at various companies.
Ron holds a bachelor’s degree in Creative Business from The Hague University of Applied Sciences and has completed various relevant Marine courses.
Geeta joined MSIG Specialty Marine in 2012 as an Underwriter in the Yachts team.
She began her career as a Commercial Administrative Assistant for ABN AMRO before becoming a Land-Based Equipment and Pleasure Craft Broker at Aon Netherlands.
Geeta had secondary vocational education training – Commercial economy.
Thom joined MSIG Specialty Marine in 2024 as a Junior Yacht Underwriter. In 2022, he worked at MSIG Specialty Marine as a Financial Crime Analyst. After a sabbatical, Thom returned to MSIG Specialty Marine in a new role.
He holds a Master’s degree in Economics at University of Amsterdam.
Matt joined MSIG Specialty Marine as a Senior Yacht Underwriter in 2017 and today serves as the line’s Lead Class Underwriter since his promotion in April 2021. He is responsible for MSIG Specialty Marine’s Yacht account including the Lead Yacht Superyacht Facility.
He began his career with RSA as a trainee Commercial Property Underwriter in 2003, before moving to Yachtsure in 2004 where he worked his way from Underwriting Assistant to Underwriter.
Matt is also a member of the Lloyd’s Joint Hull Yacht Sub Committee.
Matt is Cert CII qualified and is working towards the completion of his ACII qualification in 2025.
Louis joined MSIG Specialty Marine as a Yacht Underwriting Assistant in 2023. He rose to the position of Assistant Underwriter. Louis started his career as an Underwriting Apprentice at Direct Commercial Limited, a local commercial motor insurer in Essex, before moving to London.
During his apprenticeship, Louis was awarded the CII Certificate, finishing with a Distinction in the Level 3 Insurance Practitioner programme.
Fergus joined MSIG Specialty Marine as a Senior Yacht Underwriter in 2021. He started his career as an Assistant Underwriter at British Marine in 2010 before moving to Skuld, where he became Assistant Vice President, Head of Yacht Protection and Indemnity (P&I).
Fergus holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of Durham and attained Certificate in Insurance.
